YG brings out Trump impersonator at Rolling Loud

During his Rolling Loud set in Los Angeles, rapper YG surprised the crowd by bringing out a Donald Trump impersonator. The look-alike mocked the former president’s policies, joking about his immigration stance, “street cred” after surviving an assassination attempt, and his supposed love for rap, sarcastically claiming his favorite song was “Ice Ice Baby.”

The moment was short-lived, as YG shoved the impersonator off the stage before launching into “FDT” (F** Donald Trump)*—his 2016 protest anthem with the late Nipsey Hussle. The track, which condemns Trump as racist and fraudulent, has remained a rallying cry for his critics. YG previously claimed that after its release, the Secret Service pressured his record label to censor some of the lyrics.

Rolling Loud also featured other major acts, including Playboi Carti and A$AP Rocky. Rocky used his set to address current events, dedicating his performance to victims of the Los Angeles wildfires and those affected by Trump’s latest immigration policies.
