Nigerian star Ayra Starr debuts vibrant music video for chart-topping collaboration ‘Gimme Dat’ with Wizkid, filmed across London and Australia.
Ayra Starr has shared a new music video for ‘Gimme Dat’, her collaboration with Wizkid, via Mavin Records/Republic.
The video, co-directed by Annie Bercy and Starr herself, features scenes shot across London and Australia. The release follows Starr’s recent single ‘All The Love’ and her second album ‘The Year I Turned 21’.
Starr recently made her Met Gala debut wearing a custom Ozwald Boateng dress. She has received three nominations for the 2025 BET Awards and four nominations at the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards, including Best New, Best Afrobeats, Best African Act, and Best Push.
Beyond music, Starr is set to make her acting debut in the film adaptation of Children of Blood and Bone, alongside Viola Davis, Idris Elba, Cynthia Erivo, and Lashana Lynch.
