Memphis rapper GloRilla recently released a music video for her single “Rain Down on Me”, featuring Kirk Franklin.

The release comes shortly after her win for Best Gospel/Inspirational Award at the 2025 BET Awards.

The single, from her 2024 album Glorious, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Gospel Songs chart and No. 2 on the Hot Christian Songs chart, according to Billboard.

The music video has more than 300,000 views on YouTube and is currently trending at No. 23.

Directed by Benny Boom, the visual follows GloRilla’s win for Best Gospel/Inspirational Award at the 2025 BET Awards.

In her speech, the rapper thanked Franklin for being willing to collaborate with her, saying, “When he said yes, I was so excited. I had this song in the vault for so long.”

Later that night, the 55-year-old was honored with the Ultimate Icon Award alongside Mariah Carey, Jamie Foxx, and Snoop Dogg, according to People.

Franklin thanked his wife and kids in his acceptance speech, saying:

“You sit here with me while your father, one of my heroes, is fighting for his life. Thank you. I will never be able to repay you for giving me a legacy. You gave me Caziah, my young leader. Carrington, my best friend. Kennedy, twin. And you partnered with the mother of my oldest, Kerrion, whom I love with all my soul.”
